Lorraine of the Lions plot

A ship carrying a traveling circus troupe sinks into the sea, and Lorraine, a young girl, washes up on a desert island. Her only companion is a gorilla from the circus, Bimi, who raises her. Several years later, Lorraine's wealthy grandfather, who has hired a clairvoyant to find her, is led by the clairvoyant to Lorraine's island. She and Bimi are returned to "civilization" in San Francisco, but things don't go as planned.
