Buckout Road plot
Three young students undertake a study project about the origins and disappearance of modern myths. They travel to Buckout Road to investigate a local saga. They go there thinking it's just a myth, but they soon have to change their ideas.

A messy horror thriller that bounces around in all directions, but ultimately comes together reasonably well as a genuine attempt at something original. The problem is that director and screenwriter Matthew Currie Holmes doesn't seem to quite know what he wants with Buckout Road and therefore crams everything together. Evan Ross is unfortunately unsuitable to carry this film, and the more effective supporting cast barely makes an appearance. The final plot twist doesn't hold water, but ultimately, all the spooking and scurrying is quite entertaining.
