"The weather outside is frightful."
A winter storm leaves five friends trapped in a remote cabin. They are without electricity and have little food. Slowly, disorientation takes a toll on their sanity as each succumbs to fear that the snow itself is tainted or somehow malignant.

A psychological and mysterious horror film with a familiar premise, in which a group of teenagers find themselves stranded in a winter cabin without power (and therefore without heat). Director Colton Tran has a decent cinematography and uses stylish camerawork to tell his story, but he can do little to improve the unremarkable acting and lack of suspense. The best parts lie in their abruptness, such as a boy who hallucinates an evil snowman . Snow Falls is therefore frequently uninteresting and feels overlong, while the running time is very short. Not the worst of its kind, but not very memorable.
