"Win together or die alone"

Four small-town teens stumble upon a strange object with mysterious, cosmic powers during a yard sale. It also appears to have a kind of consciousness. Over the course of one night, the object unravels the mystery of their missing friend. However, this leads to a catastrophic collapse of reality and their loyalty to each other is tested with increasingly destructive consequences.

Extremely boring horror film that completely neglects all possible potential it has. Peyton List has been sinking into this kind of B projects for some time, while she comes from a background that has good actresses in training. The choice for films such as The Friendship Game are then painful. Furthermore, the concept is quite promising, but director Corkle barely approaches the cosmic elements and elaborates the subject without tension. Sometimes there is a very short scene with some atmosphere, but these are scarce moments in this completely substandard production. What is completely unforgivable is the slow pace and the unreasonably boring course. This movie couldn't get over me fast enough. It's not often you see potential being so violently negated like this.
