"VHS goes to hell."
A diligent teen's home video leads to a series of gruesome revelations across several stories. In Shredding, a brash punk rock band stumbles upon the ruins of an abandoned art collective where another band has been killed in a freak accident. 'Suicide Bid' follows a girl who participates in a claustrophobic hazing ritual for a sorority. The scruffy host of a TV show is forced to endure a brutal obstacle course in 'Ozzy's Dungeon'. Voyeuristic teens in 'The Gawkers' discover the horrifying truth behind their girl next door. And in 'To Hell and Back', two filmmakers are asked to document a ritual and accidentally transport it to a hellish dimension.

V/H/S/99
Another great VHS movie. Again 5 stories where I clearly found the 1st story (Shredding) the least fun. The camera images were also the most annoying to watch in the 1st part. The rest I thought was fine. They weren't really scary, but they looked nice. Incidentally, I thought it seemed realistic that it was 'supposedly' all filmed in 1999.
I give this 3 stars.

Unfortunately significantly worse than the rest of the series. Basically an embarrassment to the franchise. The first story is complete crap and the second is not much. After that it gets better, but it remains mediocre. Unfortunately!

Seen the first three with scores of 3, 2 and 1.5 votes, with the second still worth watching. I haven't seen V/H/S/94 and I have now....but I'm not going to vote because after half an hour I turned off the film because I don't do things quickly. Just terribly bad and I'm actually fed up with these kinds of films.
