Battle: Freestyle plot
After much effort, Amalie and her dance group finally get their big chance: they advance to the worldwide final in France. Arriving in Paris, life begins to unravel. The competition is fierce and the dance troupe realizes they must renew their performance or they don't stand a chance. Meanwhile, Amalie becomes distracted in search of her estranged mother who lives in Paris and runs a ballet school. Amalie's stage presence suffers and the dance crew's frustration grows.

A slick project that essentially just continues what the first part did: bringing together a bunch of characters who communicate poorly and perform a torrent of incomprehensible actions. Battle: Freestyle, however, has a bit more direction in the form of a major dance competition, although director Ingvild Søderlind concerns herself primarily with Lisa Teige and her life, which she herself makes needlessly complicated. The dance scenes look good and the finale (despite a major lack of realism) is decently entertaining, but unfortunately, this will not turn into a good series.
