Palma plot
"A True Story Of Unconditional Love"
The Soviet Union, 1977. Igor Polskiy wants to go abroad by plane with his dog Palma, but Palma is not allowed to come because Igor cannot present the correct papers. He is forced to leave the dog at the airport. Nine-year-old Kolja arrives at the airport at the same time. His mother has recently passed away and he has been forced to live with his father Vyacheslav Lazarev, a respected pilot whom he barely knows. He finds Palma and the two immediately become friends.
