"Life doesn't have a playbook."
Two years after winning the Super Bowl, NFL coach Sean Payton is suspended for his role in the Saints' Bountygate scandal. He decides to return to his hometown and coach his 12-year-old son's football team. This position makes him grow closer and closer with his little boy.

Even though such films have been on screen 100 times before, these feel-good movies always have something special about them. Moreover, I find Kevin James to be a likeable actor, and in this film, despite being portrayed somewhat more seriously, he plays a fine coach.

A decent movie for in between. Predictable from start to finish, with a standard story we've seen many times before (take Mighty Ducks, for example)... but due to the short running time, the film is never boring.
Kevin James gives a great performance and Schneider is perfect for these kinds of "unusual" supporting roles. Fun to watch with the kids sometime.
