Le Sabotier du Val de Loire plot

It is October 1955. La Chapelle-Basse-Mer is a village in the valley of Loire-Atlantique, where an old clog maker works and lives with his wife and their adopted son. The meticulous craft of the clog maker is described in detail. At the same time, the inevitable approaching death permeates the quiet everyday life of the elderly couple.
