The idea of a comedy hero movie isn't a bad one. The genre is simply hot (still...), but if the humor works it can still be a pleasant light-hearted film. But of course it has to be funny. What is immediately noticeable is the very poorly written dialogue. And unfortunately that never gets better. The jokes that gradually arrive are of a very infantile level. Then the film We Can Be Heroes (also from Netflix) is a lot more fun, even though it is really aimed at a young audience. Thunder Force is just embarrassingly bad. Doing something with heroes can result in a mainstream film, but of course you also have to do something with them.

Do you like quality, good story and excellent acting? Then skip this movie quickly.
If you want a film where your mind can be at a standstill, with weak humor and occasionally so bad that it becomes fun again, then you are well off with this film.
Expect the worst and it won't be too bad. I had a great time.
