Typical Zack Snyder film, visually overwhelming, serious, rather dark. Along with Watchmen, 300, Dawn of the Dead one of his better works. Music is from our own Junkie XL.
Better than Josh Whedon's version, which I turned off after half an hour.

To make a long story (film lasts 242 min) short: this is what I expect from a superhero film. Content, darkness, beautiful effects, emotion, in short, a beautiful epic. 4 hours were over in no time. Top notch in its genre. Now I can't remember seeing the original version. Since I have not given a vote and no review, I probably will not have seen it. The fact that I don't know anymore says it all. It is certain that I will not soon forget this one, the final soundtrack 'Hallelujah' is also worth listening to. Enjoyed this 'long' movie night.
