"Death wants some face time."
Young Matias purchases a new laptop that turns out to be stolen and used for shady practices. He finds a series of hidden documents showing videos of murdered women. Matias ends up on the dark web and asks for help from friends who become involved in this dangerous situation. A cat-and-mouse game ensues in which Matias must fight against menacing forces and invisible opponents.

Part one was crazy because it was never done, and the idea of following everything on a computer screen is really great, especially if you watch it on your laptop yourself, it gives it quite an extra dimension.
Would have liked to have seen it on a Windows laptop, (the movie screen in the movie) more my thing, but oh well Apple rules, especially in the movie world let alone in a movie like this.
It is really fascinating to portray such a fierce situation with this concept .
Plus point and an improvement on part one is that it ultimately has no paranormal cause here.
I've been digging into the dark web on YouTube for a while, and this is cat piss with the what else is happening on the deeply sick invisible section of the net.
The game is very strong .
And if this continues , and is a part three with this progression ( if there is one , we have been waiting for this sequel for some years ) then it will be a new kind of sub genre , which totally fits this time .

While the original mainly focused on the supernatural, this mediocre sequel focuses more on the mythical snuff movie thing. Not that much interesting is done with it, by the way. And so many improbable things happen that you can safely call this film supernatural. The (completely different) characters are more mature here but just as annoying and the film goes out like a candle after an exciting build-up.
