"He's a depraved, homicidal killer...and he makes house calls!"
A hospital in New York is rocked by bizarre events: parts of dead bodies disappear. It doesn't take long before someone is caught in the act of eating a heart, but the man does not let himself be caught and plunges down from ten high. Once in contact with the police, this case turns out not to be unique, the police have a nice slideshow about how more cannibals have been at work in America. And it turns out they all have the same tattoo of a certain tribe.

Still a nice dirty movie this one ... throw almost all those infamous jungle movies with cannibals and zombies in the blender and there you have your Zombie Holocaust. Big hit from the local 80s video stores. On the legendary Video for Pleasure label with a warning on the back that this movie was horrifying, bloodcurdling and even more horrible than the improbable. In the review it turns out not a word of it was a lie. Little classic.

Chaotic horror film featuring zombies and cannibals.
The scenes with the cannibals were worth it and you will get your money's worth on gore. The film is full of plot holes and sometimes even stupid, but admittedly there are a few cool scenes in the film that give the film a pass. Alexandra Delli Colli is also a sight to behold and at one point can be admired completely naked. Pure pulp! 5/10

Zombies and cannibals. A strange mix. After the somewhat uninteresting start in the city, it is a breath of fresh air when the characters finally arrive on the island. From there it really gets fun. The film feels in every way as if it was created on the location itself. It does not feel like a whole. Should have stuck with Zombies or Cannibals. This concept just does not work very well. That does not take away from the fact that Zombie Holocaust is a very entertaining film with a lot of bad make-up, bad effects, strange music and even stranger acting. I love it! There are just better films within these genres.
