Residue plot
Private detective Luke Harding reads a book that has a sinister history. The book is owned by crime boss Fairweather. What Luke doesn't know is that many people are looking for the book. It soon becomes apparent that Lamont - one of Fairweather's biggest rivals - is after Luke. Together with his accomplice Boston, he does everything in his power to get his hands on the book.
