Miriam is no longer able to pay her school fees. She realizes that she has to start earning money and decides to act in porn movies. Miriam goes to work under the pseudonym "Belle Knox". She begins to lead a double life, lying to her friends and family. However, rumors start to arise about what Miriam is doing and after a while the whole situation gets horribly out of hand. Miriam gets nasty reactions and faces online attacks. Miriam decides to fight back and contacts the media.
