Distinctive Norwegian series with about as many strong sides (atmosphere, landscapes, acting, light-hearted vs. sinister) as weak sides (mainly far-fetched actions of the characters, but the story also dragged on a bit). The finale, which is almost an anticlimax and for once does not explain exactly what happened in the past of the main character (maybe also depends on how you view the info from Trond listen), makes me hand out a tight pass.

Slow motion crime series with a psychological undertone. The first parts still have a reasonable pace, but around parts 6 and 7 the whole collapses considerably. There is an end to the story about the perpetrator, but all other built-up threads remain more or less open. That doesn't take away from the fact that the whole thing was quite good, but unfortunately not as good as many other Scandinavian crime series, which was not due to the acting. In any case, the landscape is beautiful.

yes, the acting is poor, the actors are inexperienced and seem to have been picked from the local community.

the story starts slowly and it doesn't actually get very exciting.

I stuck around because the setting is so beautiful, the dazzling nature of northern Norway.

that gives beautiful pictures.

I immediately looked up where the Sami live, in Lapland.
