Aberystwyth, a place of beauty. Slow series, but very nice. You learn something about Wales (eg that they kept Nazis captive there). The plots are well put together, but between the lines it mainly revolves around the detective and his boss, two men who both carry a dark past. It's amazing how subtly little by little their characters are built up to a climax in episode 4, which suddenly goes back to the beginning of the series. I'm looking forward to season 2!

It all looks a bit slow, no spectacular action, but in a "soothing" way the motive and perpetrator(s) are searched for. Tom Mathias comes across as a lonely man who has probably suffered something in his private life.. This is because the photo of two children runs like a red thread through the series… There is something about that…. Soon we will find out. In any case, it ensures that you as a viewer remain curious about what is to come.
