Savannah plot

Three friends grew up together in the small town of Savannah: the noble Lane McKenzie, the wealthy Reese Burton and the cunning Peyton Richards. Lane left Savannah after college to become a successful journalist in New York. She returns for the wedding of her best friend Reese, who is going to marry Travis Peterson. Lane eventually finds out that her New York apartment has been broken into and when she tries to collect an inheritance, she discovers that Travis has stolen every penny of it. Reese discovers that Travis is having an affair with one 'Bunny' and is devastated, especially when this other woman turns out to be Peyton, the daughter of the maid at the Burtons mansion. Shortly afterwards, Travis is found dead.
