I got caught up in the hype with the arrival of the fourth season. The rave reviews are completely justified in my opinion. Although I have virtually nothing with royals, this more like a political thriller in the style of House of Cards and Game of Thrones. Claire Foy, Vanessa Kirby and Jared Harris play excellently, but it is John Lithgow as Churchill who stands out for me. What a strong character he portrays. Some storylines are too soapy for me to be interesting, hence not a perfect score.

I only started on The Crown because so much was said about it. I'm really glad I started it. How well put together. That's why I'm really curious about the other seasons.
