Freaks and Geeks plot
Freaks and Geeks is set in the 1980-1981 school year where Lindsay Weir and her brother Sam attend McKinley High School together. The series begins as Lindsay changes from a good student to a girl who hangs out with the Freaks. Her relationship with her new friends as well as her old friends and the friction it creates with her parents is the focus of the series. Her brother Sam is mostly concerned with fitting in at school along with his Geeks group of friends.

Great to see almost 20 years later what a classic this series has become and what a top talent Freaks & Geeks has delivered. In addition to the well-known names James Franco, Seth Rogen and Jason Segel, the young Ben Foster, Lizzy Caplan, Jason Schwartzman and Shia LaBeouf also come along.
The series is rightly praised for its adult topics. The characters might be a bit stereotypical at times, but I think most people can definitely relate to them. The character that stands out the most for me is Lindsay. What a very well written character. I didn't like her brother Sam, who was constantly super annoying.
