Sarge plot

Emotionally broken after his wife is killed by the bullet of a hit man intended for him, a police veteran, Sergeant Cavanaugh, decides to become a priest. Three years later, he is ordained as Father Samuel Patrick Cavanaugh and assigned to Saint Aloysius Parish in San Diego, California. He is still called Sarge and using unorthodox methods he tries to solve mysteries in his crime-ridden environment.
