Friheden plot

When they were young and in love, Nina and Erik with their partner Jacqueline were top-notch con artists. But when Nina got pregnant, they traded their old profession and Jacqueline for a normal life. With their teenage daughter and eight-year-old son, they now pass their days as law-abiding citizens in a Copenhagen suburb. The passion has long since disappeared from their relationship. Suddenly, Erik and Nina's dull, bourgeois life is shaken up when their ex-partner in crime Jacqueline shows up. She forces them to use their skills again for a final blow: defrauding a pharmaceutical company for millions of euros.
