Deadline plot
Wallace Benton works as a journalist for the tabloid magazine NY Ledger. Here he has to work with his wife, who will soon be his ex-wife. Wallace drinks and swears too much, but he still knows how to use his skills as a journalist to cover the most interesting stories. In addition to his job as a journalist, he also teaches and regularly deploys his students during his investigations.
