Making a Murderer plot

Making a Murderer is about the life of Steven Avery, a Wisconsin man who spent 18 years in prison for raping Penny Ann Beernsten. DNA analysis later linked the rape to Gregory Allen, a man who has also committed other crimes in Manitowoc County. Avery was released and filed a lawsuit against Manitowoc County and some officials associated with his initial arrest. Shortly after the lawsuit was filed, Avery was charged with the murder of Teresa Halbach, with the same officials involved in the investigation. Making a Murderer shows the trial and investigation into the murder of Teresa Halbach. Brendan Dassey, Avery's cousin is also charged with murder in the investigation, his trial is also covered in the series.

Yes hard to say xancran. There are of course new developments, especially given the success of the first season. But at times this season also felt repetitive and sometimes even superfluous for me. I think the Avery family likes to handle all the publicity and the makers want another success. And apparently many people also wanted a sequel. So that's how it works. But I have to admit that I struggled through it quite a bit.

What I had trouble with is that the makers got quite a stiff ass from the fact that the 1st series scored so well. And that they were constantly patting themselves on the back for this in the 2nd season, while there are also a lot of bad sides to the circus they have created. I also found certain things very far fetched and milked out. Sometimes there were also interesting things in it. We just didn't need 10 hours for that.

After ten episodes I'm still not sure if Zellner is an AI robot or human. Well, she does have convincing qualities. Seen separately from the one-sided approach and certain tactics of 'r.

Nevertheless, I enjoyed it, just like five years ago with the first season. It remains a fascinating spectacle, bearing in mind once again that the documentary mainly uses one angle. Find the issue surrounding Brendan especially interesting. And Nirider, beautiful woman.

I am still amazed that there are so many experts who completely contradict each other, whether or not based on questionable experiments, as in, for example, The Staircase. By that I mean experts in the field of blood spatter, behavior, etc., not experts in indisputable, (bio-)scientific research (DNA).

Whether Halbach's family is also happy with all that (media) attention and protesting people who think they know all the legal ins and outs after watching television... Don't think about it, to be honest. And then I read that there will probably be another documentary about this case, Convicting a Murderer, which uses the other angle from the Public Prosecution Service.

Apparently a guarantee for high viewing figures and I think I will watch it then. Continue to find it interesting and fill in the empty hours well.
