Actually just as strong as the previous seasons, but I did watch them in a certain period that I'm a bit 'through' now, apparently. It's still bizarre how many of these types of characters walk the earth and I really wonder why they stopped with this series. Are there still plenty? Why was this, for example, never discussed? Have you milked too much in other series/films? Or did they want to stick to British, American and Canadian affairs only?

The professional shrinks often have interesting points, but with regard to the issue of 'nurture vs. nature' it is always terribly difficult to say something meaningful. In fact, there is always a serious deficiency of youth at the root of it, whether that is abuse and mistreatment, neglect or a misplaced and distorted way of giving attention - or else an overall psychologically and physically unhealthy environment (village - city). Plus, and it's becoming a cliché, I know, that many who also had a rough childhood don't go in the wrong direction.

Anyway, all in all it remains a strong and very interesting series. I just love all those beautiful shots of the towns and the like and the soundtrack, while that is perhaps the least important. It should have gone on for years, but the peak (in my attention anyway) is over.

4.5*.

PS: here too regular reports from those directly involved / relatives, which gives the whole an extra penetrating dimension - actually indispensable in the series.
