Reviews & comments

Great second series, very different from the first, but just as impressive. This time everything is cleverly put together like a puzzle and the plot revolves more around the retired Julien Baptiste than was the case in the first series. Tcheky Karyo certainly plays him beautifully. Very exciting and again emotionally quite gripping.

Please make a sequel to this soon, because this series looks great. Unlike the rest, I didn't like this season as much as the first season. I found the characters a little less sympathetic here and also felt that the characters were given a little less space to really make an impression. The acting was again very good and Baptiste remains a fantastic character.

This season was a lot more complex, but it was good to see that the denouement here was again very satisfying. Switching location was a nice move. The German village also created a unique atmosphere. Curious whether the prequel series, which is set in Amsterdam, also has that.

Another strong and intriguing narrative. This 2nd season is a lot bigger than the first. This season feels a bit more like a big rabbit hole, but with no rabbit at the end of the corridor.

Tchéky Karyo is back! To solve a case that was already talked about in the first season. With a completely new cast, this has nothing to do with season 1, apart from Karyo and the occasional hints.

Most people will like this season better, but I personally liked the first season a bit more. I found that story, just a bit more intriguing and mysterious than this second season. The acting of season 1, is also just a bit better.

All in all, this was a gem and really a bummer that they never continued this series. I really enjoyed this anyway!
