Ripper Street plot

A crime drama set in the East End of London in 1889, during the aftermath of the 'Ripper' murders. The infamous H Division, the police station from hell, is tasked with maintaining order in the chaotic streets of Whitechapel. The series is about the people who not only try to pick up their lives from the legacy the Ripper left behind, crimes that have changed not only their lives forever, but also the fabric of their city. The detectives try to bring light to the dark world they inhabit.
