An Idiot Abroad plot
Comedians Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant persuade their naive friend and culture barbarian Karl Pilkington to embark on an extraordinary journey around the world. How well can a title summarize a series 
. Karl Pilkington is the often somewhat simple, but deadly honest test subject. Which is dropped by Gervais & co in all kinds of situations. Great television to lie down in front of, not to get up again for the next few hours.
