Bodies plot

Four detectives in four different eras find the body of the same murder victim in London's Whitechapel. Edmon Hillinghead is the town's most diligent detective in 1890 as Jack the Ripper prowls the streets. In 1941, Charles Whiteman rules the streets by spearheading the cons he's supposed to put down. Shahara Hasan battles racist rioters in 2023, and in the year 2053, young Maplewood struggles with amnesia as one of the last survivors of a terrifying techno-apocalypse. During their investigation, the foursome discover they are dealing with a mysterious conspiracy that spans over 150 years.

Had hier veel van verwacht, maar het was echt niets bijzonder als serie, eerder vervelend. Ik ben het eens met iemand op Rotten Tomatoes " painfully generic and dull.

I expected a lot from this, but it was really nothing special as a series, rather annoying. I agree with someone on Rotten Tomatoes " painfully generic and dull.

Ik heb hier echt volop van genoten. Zeker deels voorspelbaar maar alles past wel mooi in elkaar. Mooi de kleur en opname verschillen per periode. Kortom: prima kijkvoer!

I really enjoyed this very much. Certainly partly predictable, but everything fits together nicely.

Beautiful, the color and recording differ per period.

In short: great viewing material!

Interessant, ik hou van dit soort mindfuckerige dingen. Sf en timetravel, maar ook in sfeervolle, niet-dystopische settings. Tuurlijk zijn er wat plotholes en clichés te vinden, maar het kijkt behoorlijk goed weg. Beeldvorming uitstekend. En dat voor een Netflix-serie, of ben ik dan te neerbuigend/achterhaald. Interesting, I like this kind of mindfuckery stuff. SF and timetravel, but also in atmospheric, non-dystopian settings. Of course there are some plot holes and clichés, but it looks pretty good. Imaging excellent. And that for a Netflix series, or am I too condescending/outdated. More of this
