Joey plot
Spin-off of the sitcom Friends. The series revolves around one of six friends from the main series, Joey Tribbiani, who moves to Hollywood hoping for a breakthrough in the acting world. Saying goodbye to a time when his friends were his family, he now seizes the opportunity to make his own family his friends. He is reunited with his sensitive sister Gina, a strong and attractive hairdresser. Joey moves in with his 20-year-old cousin and graduating student Michael, Gina's son. Although Joey is not exactly intelligent, he manages to compensate for this with his social skills. This makes him the best new friend his cousin could have hoped for.

I do have that bond you don't have with Friends. It is my favorite series ever (who would have thought.. 
), but this series did not appeal to me at all. I can't say much more sensible about it, it's been a little too long since I've seen it, but what I thought was the level very sad.
Now I'm of the opinion that no character from Friends is interesting enough to make a separate show. The characters are only interesting when they are together, precisely because of the completely different characters that have been brought together. I don't think I would really appreciate a separate series for any character. They're just not nearly all that interesting on their own.
Nothing to the detriment of the cast, by the way, because from what I remember, I thought that was okay about the series. Other than that, it doesn't even come close to Friends. It is possible that the series is attractive to people who had little to do with Friends and/or hardly watched it, but fans of the series like me, I think it is better to skip this one.

Oh how bad is this! Friends was a top series, but the friends are only fun if they play together and don't get a spin-off on their own. Joey needs his friends to be funny, not the salty co-stars in this series. No wonder only two seasons were made!
