In Sickness and in Health plot

Alf and Else Garnett are an elderly couple. Else is in a wheelchair and Alf has strong opinions about almost everything. When Else dies, Alf has to adjust to life without his wife. He vents his anger and frustration on those around him. The only one he gets along with is his upstairs neighbor, Mrs. Hollingberry, who he spends much of his time with.
