High Desert plot
Peggy Newman is a woman with a troubled past who is a drug addict. She decides to make a fresh start after the death of her beloved mother, with whom she lived in the small desert town of Yucca Valley in California. Peggy makes the life-changing decision to become a private investigator and goes to work for Bruce, whose detective agency is in shambles.
