Black Books plot

The London bookshop Black Books is run by the sacrastic and gruff Irish drunk Bernard Black. His only staff member is the naive and somewhat timid Manny. Manny moves in with Bernard after he took it against his will, but after asking his neighbor Fran. Fran owns a curio shop next to Bernhard's bookstore. She is Bernhard's only buddy. Because just like Bernhard, she drinks and smokes whenever the opportunity permits. With the arrival of Manny, the trio finds themselves in the most bizarre and ridiculous situations.
