The Defenders plot

Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist. A quartet of singular heroes with one common goal, to save and make New York City safe. This is the story of four lone figures, each saddled with their own personal problems. The foursome enter into a collaboration, so that much more can be achieved in the fight against increasing crime.

Vond het wel een aardig eerste seizoen. Trage opbouw, maar dat lijkt het idee te zijn van de Marvel Netflix series. Waar ik me wel een beetje aan stoorde was de domheid, als je het zo wilt noemen, van de NYPD. Aangezien de Netflix series in hetzelfde universum afspelen als de Marvelfilms, hebben ze al aardig wat gezien in NY. Een man die in een groene reus veranderd, goden van een andere planeet, aliens, een man die na 70 jaar ontdooit is uit het ijs en geen dag ouder wordt, maar dat er een eeuwenoude organisatie zou bestaan die New York wil vernietigen gaat er bij hun dan niet in.

Thought it was a good first season. Slow build-up, but that seems to be the idea of the Marvel Netflix series. What bothered me a bit was the stupidity, if you want to call it that, of the NYPD. Since the Netflix series are set in the same universe as the Marvel films, they have already seen quite a bit in NY. A man turned into a green giant, gods from another planet, aliens, a man who thaws out of the ice after 70 years and doesn't age a day, but that there is an ancient organization that wants to destroy New York don't go with them then.

Dit was wel vermakelijk, eindelijk eens flink wat actie. Wel jammer dat het voornamelijk om Ironfist draaide aangezien ik dat nu juist de sufste van de club vind. Het verhaal op zich is prima, alleen erg jammer hoe het slordig werd afgeraffeld in de laatste aflevering. Maar goed dat is mijn mening. Verder echt wel het kijken waard.

This was entertaining, finally some action. It's a shame that it mainly revolved around Ironfist because I think that's the dumbest of the club.

The story itself is fine, just a shame how sloppy it was rushed in the last episode. But hey, that's my opinion.

Also really worth a look.
