An excellent third season, effectively the conclusion of the series. A shorter fourth season consisting of four episodes would follow, but that focuses on events from the past of protagonists Nina and Calle and has no direct connection to the main storyline. Be that as it may, this is high-quality Scandinavian drama, featuring plenty of compelling events and, this time, even elements of a thriller. It starts to run out of steam a bit towards the end, but the characters remain so endearing that they easily compensate for the plot's shortcomings.
