Doc Martin plot

The series revolves around the life of Dr. Martin Ellingham, and the inhabitants of the harbor town of Portwenn. Martin is a brilliant and successful surgeon who has always been at the forefront of the medical world with great love. However, his sudden fear of blood prevents him from performing any more surgeries. He decides to move to a small coastal town to work as a general practitioner. Upon arrival, the GP practice turns out to be one big unprofessional mess. Martin will have to make the most of his new life.
