After the Rose family loses all their money, they have no option but to move to Schitt's Creek. Schitt's Creek is a small town that the family once bought as a joke when they were rich. Now Johnny and Moira live with their two grown children, David and Alexis, in two hotel rooms of a dilapidated hotel.

Een lach en een traan richting een passend einde aan de serie. Het is fijn om te zien hoe de personages in 'Schitt's Creek' zijn gegroeid in hun reis naar onafhankelijkheid en een nederige opstelling naar de werkende mens. Ik ga ze nog missen! De vroegere pater familias die de controle kwijt is. De narcistische ex-actrice die haar carrière belangrijker vindt dan wat ook. De dochter die zich altijd aan anderen optrekt om te krijgen wat ze wil. De zoon die een neusje heeft voor ongezonde en turbulente liefdesrelaties. En natuurlijk de wonderlijke inwoners uit Schitt's Creek met al hun eigenaardigheden. Stiekem hoop ik dat ze allemaal nog eens bij elkaar komen voor een reünie.

A laugh and a tear toward a fitting end to the series. It's wonderful to see how the characters in 'Schitt's Creek' have grown on their journey to independence and a humble approach to the working class. I'm going to miss them! The former patriarch who's lost control. The narcissistic ex-actress who values her career above all else. The daughter who always uses others to get what she wants. The son with a knack for unhealthy and turbulent love affairs. And of course, the wonderful inhabitants of Schitt's Creek with all their quirks. I secretly hope they all get together again someday for a reunion.
