Kinderen geen Bezwaar plot

About fourteen years ago, Gerard and Maud got to know each other through a personal ad. Gerard is about 12 years older than Maud. The deal was quickly closed and now they are married. He cooks, irons, dusts and does the laundry, basically everything in the house. Maud works as a psychotherapist with a practice at home. Maud's daughter Julia is from her first marriage. Julia is adored by Gerard's son Daan, who in turn brought Gerard in from a previous life. Daan always tries everything with Julia, but he only succeeds sporadically.

In this season I regularly wondered whether I was watching Children No Objection or GTST. A once strong comedy series with nicely written one-liners and a creatively conceived plot is unfortunately no longer the case. Of course there are still entertaining and better episodes, for example the 200th and the episodes with Jules but otherwise this season is quite depressing. Julia not continuing with Tom, Inke not continuing with Sinan.. a lot of bullshit about babies and reproduction and especially little comedy.
