Sherlock plot

Sherlock Holmes can recognize a software designer by his tie and a pilot by his thumb, thanks to his enormous analytical skills. He fights boredom by solving complex crimes. Thanks to a chance meeting, John Watson comes into his life. The two men are as different as can be, but together they fight the crime. Sherlock's intellect and John's pragmatism make the couple an unbeatable team. Together, they untangle cryptic clues, hunt down life-threatening killers, and solve seemingly unsolvable crimes.

Slightly less than the first two seasons, but still rock solid. The best episode is The Sign of Three, at John Watson's wedding. There is a wonderful atmosphere for 90 minutes.

Gift series. Obviously I still have a season to go, but I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised by Sherlock. I was previously mainly known with Jeremy Brett as the interpreter of the title character (Downey Jr. is not very memorable to me) and of course he still remains unbeatable, but Benedict Cumberbatch also portrays the character in a masterful way. In addition, Martin Freeman plays his role as Dr. Watson very pleasant. I also find the way in which people choose to portray Holmes's thought process very strong, because this in fact forces you to think along with him... And of course you are still wrong. The whole is further supported by a beautiful score, tight camera work and it is great to see how Conan Doyle's classic stories are translated into modern times and how contemporary themes are addressed. This has definitely become a favorite of mine.
