Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman plot

In 1966, Jonathan & Martha Kent watch a small spaceship crash into a field near their village of Smallville, Kansas. In the ship they find a baby. They decide to adopt the child and name him Clark. Over the years, the Kents discover that Clark possesses superhuman powers. Twenty-seven years later, Clark moves to Metropolis where he takes a job as a journalist at the Daily Planet. Here he becomes a partner of Lois Lane. Although Clark immediately falls in love with Lois, she does not like him. Clark also decides to do something with his superhuman powers. He takes on the alter ego Superman and becomes a hero. Lois falls in love with Superman, unaware that he and Clark are one and the same.
