Tracy Rides plot
Sheriff Tom Tracy is ordered to drive to the sheep farmers' camp. Once there, he finds the dying Jenkins. Jenkins accuses Ned Hampton of shooting him in the back. Ned is the brother of Tracy's fiancé. Tracy drives to Hampton's ranch and tells Ned he acted in self-defense. Ned then runs away after injuring Tracy. Tracy is cared for by his fiancé and she provides shelter, as the stock farmers suspect Tracy of siding with the sheep farmers. The problems are exacerbated if the livestock farmers intend to transport their livestock over the sheep farmers' land. Jim Green, the leader of the sheep farmers, is determined to stop the livestock farmers.
