The Fighting Ranger plot
"He became a thief -- to catch a thief!"
Cougar's gang has crossed the border from Mexico to America for a robbery, in which the gang kill Jim's brother Bob. Jim resigns from the Rangers and heads to Mexico to track down the gang. He poses as a wanted bandit in hopes of joining Cougar's gang in order to trick the gang into one more time in America where they could be arrested.
