Autry is a Marshall who is after Al Bartlett and Trot Lucas for robbing a bank. In an attempt to shake off the pursuers, Bartlett kills his own brother and Lucas. Ben Luder lures Bartlett into town by saying that a doctor can perform plastic surgery on him. Bartlett sees through the trap, kills Luder, takes the doctor hostage and forces the doctor to take him to the train. Autry is on the train trying to catch Bartlett.
