To take possession of the Delaney Ranch, Cole Gregory's henchman Steve Anders pits the cattle ranchers and the sheep farmers against each other. When Delaney is killed in an armed clash between the two sides, Steve tries to kill Delaney's daughter Jill as well. Roy Rogers has been asked to investigate this armed conflict. The failed assassination attempts on Jill give Roy the information he needs.
