Cijena Života plot

At the end of 1991, prisoner Ivan escapes from a Serbian camp and finds shelter on the estate of the wealthy Serbian landowner Stevan. Stevan offers Ivan two options: surrender to the authorities or work for him. Ivan chooses the latter and gradually gets to know the landowner's derailed family during his stay on the farm. He also becomes involved in a secret love affair with Anica, Stevan's beautiful Croatian daughter-in-law, who is married to the bloodthirsty son of the landowner fighting in Croatia.
