Purgatory Jack plot

Purgatory, or Purgatory, is a dangerous and desolate place populated by criminals and outcasts with the occasional lost soul among them. Jack Marlin, a former musician who now works as a private detective, has taken on a brand new case. He wants to help newcomer Viv Vacious, a punk pop star who overdosed, find her mother who committed suicide 20 years earlier. Not an easy task in a world full of crime, conspiracies and with blood as the ultimate drug.
