In the early 1950s, the CIA embarked on a series of highly confidential and experimental programs to develop new methods of interrogation. Ten years later, Americans are unaware that their government is using unwitting subjects with dangerous drugs, essentially to test the effectiveness of brainwashing. Psychiatrist Ford Strauss' professional and ethical boundaries are tested when he is asked to assist with the MK Ultra program at the rural and isolated Mississippi Mental Hospital. Will he follow the orders of the government or expose the truth?
