He tries to forget the injustice that Patty has done to him and focuses on his boxing career. Hayden's sister Gloria still thinks Johnny shot her brother. She still has a hard time dealing with the loss, but can't turn to her heroin-addicted mother, especially when it turns out that she is in a relationship with Gloria's boyfriend Patty. Skinny movie with the one and only Angelina Jolie. That is okay in general, but otherwise the film is not particularly uplifting.

Nice movie.

Certainly not great and this kind of story will never be a winner. The story is sometimes incomprehensible with so much forgiveness and acting (except for Jolie) is rather skinny. For the rest it is nice. Nice to see once. But I'm not going to give this movie a second viewing. Gets a small 3.0.

Seventh film of the Angelina Jolie marathon, but what a monstrosity of a film. Which I actually expected, but I still wanted to give it a chance.

Basically everything is bad. Acting, camera work, editing, the script, undeveloped dialogues. All dredge. Even Jolie can't make it. Acts pretty mediocre here too. Too bad she had to do this after the good 'Gia' of the same year. Then she finally comes into the picture!

At the end of the movie, I still had no idea which way she wanted the story to go. Various themes are discussed, but nothing is catchy or done with conviction. It's a mess.

It starts with a shaky start. It is unclear what is happening now and it is too short-sighted. Not emotional enough to tell a movie about it. If they had done this you would understand the sadness, the frustration and the pain that it brings when someone dies. But since it was filmed very confused and was finished within 30 seconds, all scenes after that do nothing for you. It is also incomprehensible, because why does someone think they know for a moment that someone is responsible for someone's death when that person was not even there. You don't understand the idea behind it, so it doesn't come across at all. Although this storyline is done pretty quickly and then you think, what the hell are they going to do now? A sideline to a lot of filler material with boxing, drugs, a child, a choir singing, sleep-inducing soundtrack music in between and talking back and forth with no depth at all.

Skip this movie. That's my advice.
