En Apparence plot
Robert Elliott is a prominent psychoanalyst. He has a wealthy Parisian clientele and gives lectures all over the world. He lives in the Marais, in a luxurious apartment. Some time ago, he was accused of the crimes known in the media as 'The Strangler of the Place des Vosges'. He spent several months in prison, but thanks to the expertise of leading lawyers and his exemplary conduct, he was released soon after. However, this release is causing outrage among the families of the victims, and some parents and relatives are prepared to take the law into their own hands.
