Melissa is mistreated by her husband and flees. She takes her little son Ryan to her parents' cabin in a small Louisiana town. Melissa and her sister used to spend summers there as children. Melissa's worst nightmare comes true when Ryan is suddenly kidnapped. The local police won't help her, so Melissa feels compelled to take matters into her own hands. She discovers that the town is hiding a dark secret.
